Handling food safety: Domestic Prevention Plus International Cooperation

"The food safety issue is getting more and more complicated nowadays. In fact, we have found that the only practical method is to establish a food safety system which is based on prevention in advance rather than law enforcement afterwards... A food safety system based on prevention can best serve the consumers and has proven the most effective for the government." Stated by Ms. Pamela G. Bailey, President and CEO of the Grocery Manufacturers Association, during an exclusive interview with Caixin Media on September 12.
